Duties
The Support Worker will work within teams to support our young persons with daily living and life skills. This could include:
- Helping them to effectively budget their money.
- Assisting them with meal preparation, cooking, and adhering to their nutrition and dietary plan
- Positively encouraging them to make their own choices and empower them to pursue their hobbies and interests.
- Assisting them with their personal care routine. This could include washing, bathing, dressing, oral care, toileting etc.
- Escorting them on day trips and engaging in activities e.g., swimming, walking, cycling etc.
Requirements
- A full UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience supporting young persons with learning disabilities or behaviours that challenge would be advantageous, but not essential.
